The Department of Neurosurgery and the Fairview Southdale Hospital seek a fellowship trained, board eligible or board-certified neurosurgeon with training in endovascular, peripheral nerve, or spine surgery.  The ideal candidate for this position will expand and enhance Fairview Southdale Hospital’s neurosurgery clinical programs, work effectively in a multidisciplinary collaborative environment, and demonstrate surgical technical excellence by playing a leadership role, develop new clinical initiatives, and participate in neurosurgical academic activities.  Practice sites for this position include the University of Minnesota Medical Center, Fairview Southdale, and Fairview Ridges. The Department of Neurosurgery supports a fully ACGME accredited residency training program in Neurological Surgery. All faculty members participate in residency education.

This position will be recruited at the Assistant or Associate Professor (non-tenure) level and will be a full-time appointment on the academic track, level of appointment and compensation are dependent on the applicant’s qualifications and experience.
