The University of Rochester Department of Medicine, Division of Allergy Immunology and Rheumatology is recruiting a BC/BE Rheumatologist to join our academic rheumatology practice. We are a fourteen member faculty group with world renowned members with expertise in rheumatoid and psoriatic arthritis, SLE, Sjogren’s Syndrome, scleroderma, clinical immunology and MSK ultrasound. The Division is a leader in providing high quality rheumatologic care, the design and implementation of innovative translational studies and clinical trials and the development of novel approaches in resident and fellowship education. The Division has 2 fully staffed clinics and infusion centers, 5 advance practice providers and a robust and talented support staff including 14 RN's working as a team to provide timely, state-of- the art patient care.
The position will entail an academic appointment in the Division commensurate with experience and activities will include patient care, supervision of fellows, residents and medical students and scholarly endeavors. The ideal candidate will be a USSONAR graduate to join the current three faculty members who perform musculoskeletal ultrasound in the clinic and are actively engaged in translational studies and clinical trials. We have multiple ultrasound machines including a GE logic E9.
Applicants are required to have an MD, be BC/BE in rheumatology and be eligible for licensure in the State of New York and have a strong interest in both inpatient and outpatient clinical rheumatology. Post offer health assessment is required. Women and minority candidates are encouraged to apply.
