Hebrew SeniorLife, an affiliate of Harvard Medical School, is working to chart the course for senior care as our country faces an unprecedented demographic challenge. We are a non-profit, non-sectarian organization devoted to innovative geriatric research, senior health care, and housing that promotes independence and well- being. Consistently voted one of Boston’s Top Places to Work by our employees, HSL enjoys a unique environment of employee engagement, competitive compensation program, and outstanding benefits. We currently offer a wonderful opportunity for a Geriatrician to join our exceptional Department of Medicine in one of our clinical venues.

Medical Director: 16 hours per week at our Orchard Cove facility in Canton.

Attending Physician: 24 hours per week at our Dedham Rehabilitative Services Unit.

The above positions can be combined for a full time role

Geriatrician: 40 hours Outpatient Primary Care and Long Term Chronic Care

These facilities offer beautiful work environments and a collegial atmosphere. The roles themselves offer work/life balance, collaborative colleagues, excellent nursing and support staff, and commitment to the highest standards of clinical care. The positions may also involve teaching responsibilities in connection with the Harvard Medical School Fellowship in Geriatric Medicine, for which HSL is a primary teaching site. Participation in monthly geriatric grand rounds and geriatric didactics are highly encouraged.

Valid and unrestricted MA medical license, Federal DEA certification, Board Certified in Internal Medicine required. Board Certification in Geriatric Medicine strongly preferred. These are fantastic opportunities to join an academic, mission driven organization very close to the culture and amenities of Boston. We are the largest non-profit provider of senior care in New England, and the only Harvard Medical School affiliated organization devoted to service to elders in the country.

We are an equal opportunity employer, and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability status, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law. We strongly encourage both women and minorities to apply.
