West Virginia University School of Medicine, Department of Family Medicine seeks a Geriatric Family Medicine Physician at the Assistant or Associate Professor level, who has a passion for post-acute and transitional care, and a desire to educate future Physicians and contribute through scholarly activity. In addition to providing excellent patient care, the successful candidate will be actively involved in the teaching of medical students and Family Medicine Residents and Fellows. This Physician will see patients in the new Family Medicine clinic as well as in a local nursing home. Opportunities also exist for inpatient care, collaboration with the multi-disciplinary Geriatrics team, and in clinical research.

Successful candidates must have an MD, MD/PhD or DO degree (the employer accepts foreign educational equivalent) and be eligible to obtain an unrestricted West Virginia medical license. Candidates must be board certified/eligible in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine with additional fellowship training in Geriatrics.
