OB/GYN Hospitalist

Ob Hospitalist Group has partnered with this facility to develop and manage a program that provides 24/7 emergent care to expectant mothers.

As an OBHG hospitalist, you are the in-house expert whose advanced clinical skill and ability to handle any OB emergency dramatically improves patient safety and satisfaction.

You will work closely with local OB/GYNs to ensure that every pregnant woman who presents to the hospital is cared for by an experienced physician, every time.

Hospital Information

The 262-bed hospital is located on 62.5 acres at the intersection of Routes 552 and 55 in Vineland. It has served the Southern New Jersey community since 2004 and employs more than 2,700 people. The hospital's Maternity Care Center has 10 private labor, delivery, and recovery rooms, as well as 14 private post-partum rooms. It also has three nurseries: newborn, transitional and special care.

The Location

Vineland is located in Cumberland County in Southern New Jersey and has a population of approximately 60,700 people. Adjacent to interstate 55, Vineland is located just 38 miles from the Atlantic Ocean and 35 miles south of Philadelphia. The city is served by two airports as well as New Jersey Transit. Residents enjoy an affordable cost of living as housing costs are significantly less than those in other cities.

Arts and Entertainment

Vineland is home to the only drive-in movie theater in New Jersey, which dates back to 1949. The city also contains 238 acres of parks and is within 10 miles of numerous golf courses. Enjoy a daytrip to nearby Atlantic City, Philadelphia or the Jersey Shore, which are just minutes away. New York City, Washington, D.C., and the Pocono Mountains are all within a three-hour drive. Vineland is also home to a 1.1 million sq. foot mall, a new health club, a performing arts center and an ice skating complex.

Education

Vineland Public Schools serves students from pre-K through 12th grade. The city is also home to several private schools. Nearby higher education institutions include Cumberland County College, Rowan University and Stockton State College.
