TeamHealth has an excellent full-time opportunity for a physician to join our Hospitalist team full time at Conway Medical Center in Conway, South Carolina. This position will include day-shift coverage needed from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm. This 222-bed facility features 25 ICU beds with backup specialists, advanced practice clinician coverage 7 days a week, and an average daily census of 18 to 20 patients per physician. Sub-specialists handle procedures. We ask our Hospitalists to be comfortable with procedures in a backup situation if a specialist isn't available.

As the county seat of Horry County, South Carolina, Conway is part of the Myrtle Beach metropolitan area and home of Coastal Carolina University. Numerous buildings and structures in Conway are on the National Register of Historic Places, including the City Hall building, reputedly designed by Robert Mills, architect of the Washington Monument. The 1980s brought the completion of the Main Street USA project that revitalized Conway's downtown with shops and bistros.
