The Practice

Harrisonburg OB/GYN is an established, private practice seeking a BC/BE physician to join the group of five physicians, three Nurse Practitioners, and two Certified Nurse Midwife along with a great support staff to provide comprehensive and compassionate medical care in our community. The practice delivers about 700 babies annually. Call participation expected, with most post call days off. When on call, the physician is scheduled at the hospital only, which is located less than 4 miles from the office.  Call is 24 hours, 9am-9am the next day.  It is not mandatory to "stay" at the hospital if you live close by, but it is required to be available for everything including rounding, deliveries, emergencies, minor GYN surgeries, etc. during those 24 hours. After start, physician will join practice on a management track.

Rockingham Memorial Hospital is a 238-bed, not-for-profit community hospital and member of Sentara HealthCare located in the beautiful and historic Shenandoah Valley of Virginia. For nearly 100 years, RMH has delivered advanced medical care to its seven-county service area with a population of close to 200,000.  Annual services provided at RMH include about 15,500 inpatients, 1,500 babies delivered, 18,000 surgical patients, 16,000 cancer treatments, 70,000 emergency department visits.
