OB/GYN Physician Opportunity in Virginia

Excellent opportunity to join a well-established employed group of five Board-Certifed OB/GYN's, five Certified Nurse Midwives and a Nurse Practitioner in Blacksburg, Virginia. Carilion New River Valley Medical Center is a 146-bed acute-care medical center with excellent support staff and a medical staff of 280 physicians, representing a broad range of specialists, and a Level II Nursery. The practice averages 60 deliveries and 20-25 non-obstetrical surgeries per month. Call 1:5 or better.

Ground and air transportation is also available to Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital with Level III Nursery and 60-bed NICU, located in Roanoke, VA 30 miles away

The practice has a strong partnership with the Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine, located in Blacksburg, where all of the physicians are adjunct faculty. Opportunities are also available for physicians interested in research and partnership with the new Virginia Tech Carilion School of Medicine.

Requirements for this position include: MD/DO, Completion of ACGME/AOA-approved OB/GYN Residency program, Eligible for licensure in the Commonwealth of Virginia, Active DEA.
