Position Information:

The John L McClellan Memorial Veterans' Hospital, Little Rock, AR, is seeking one full-time BC/BE Geriatric Medicine Physician.   The ideal candidate is an independent care provider who is highly skilled in the management of complex medical conditions, co-morbid mental illnesses, pain management issues and a variety of psychosocial conditions with active collaboration with the multi-disciplinary teams. Facilitates academic activities to supervise/teach (didactics) geriatric fellows, medical residents, Nurse Practitioners and trainees in other health-related disciplines. One who can be responsible for management and oversight of long term care Veterans and directs clinical care for older patients with multiple complex health problems in long-term care settings.

Located near Downtown Little Rock, the John L. McClellan (JLM) Memorial Veterans Hospital is easily accessible from Exit #3 off the I-630 expressway. Our hospital adjoins the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences campus.
