Neurosurgeon - Mercy Health Youngstown

Mercy Health Physicians Youngstown (MHPY) is seeking a Board Certified/ Board Eligible Neurosurgeon to meet the growing demand for neurological surgery services at St. Elizabeth Youngstown Hospital. Our progressive Neuroscience Institute includes an 8-bed Neuroscience ICU, Spine Center and a neurointerventional bi plane angiography suite.

We are looking for a physician to provide compassionate, high quality and personalized care to the residents of the Valley. The candidate will collaborate with an exceptional team of neurosurgeons, neurohospitalists, neurologists, and neurointerventional radiologists. In addition will have the support of skilled Physician Assistants. The candidate will work amongst neurosurgeons whose specialty training and areas of clinical focus complement each other and includes complex spine surgery, endovascular neurosurgery, neuro-oncology and functional neurosurgery.

New graduates and current trainees will be strongly considered and a training stipend is available to those currently in a fellowship program. Our current neurosurgeons are committed to mentoring any new graduate that is hired.
