Ob Hospitalist Group has partnered with this facility to develop and manage a program that provides 24/7 emergent care to expectant mothers.
As an OBHG hospitalist, you are the in-house expert whose advanced clinical skill and ability to handle any OB emergency dramatically improves patient safety and satisfaction.
You will work closely with local OB/GYNs to ensure that every pregnant woman who presents to the hospital is cared for by an experienced physician, every time.

The hospital's birthing center has a level III NICU and delivers approximately1,200 babies annually. The private Labor-Delivery-Recovery Rooms are equipped with up-to-date technology. Jackson's natural scenic beauty is the ideal backdrop for its many parks and outdoor attractions. Jackson Zoological Park has a fine collection of animals from around the world, with over 700 animals shown in natural surroundings. The Wilderness Mississippi exhibit focuses on indigenous species. LeFleur’s Bluff State Park is located on 500 acres of woodlands. In addition to several miles of hiking and nature trails, the park features a public nine-hole golf course with a clubhouse and driving range, meeting rooms, a swimming pool, picnic areas, playgrounds and tennis courts. Boat rentals are available on the park's lake, and fishing is permitted in season. For real outdoorsmen, campsites are provided for both recreational vehicles and tents. The Jackson Public School District operates 60 public schools. It is one of the largest school districts in the state with about 30,000 students in 38 elementary schools, 13 middle schools and 7 high schools. There are also approximately 33 private schools from which to choose.
Jackson has a long history of hosting a vast array of higher education opportunities, including: Antonelli College, Belhaven University, Jackson State University, Millsaps College, Mississippi College, Reformed Theological Seminary, Tougaloo College, University of Mississippi Medical Center and Wesley Biblical Seminary.
