Ob Hospitalist Group has partnered with this facility to develop and manage a program that provides 24/7 emergent care to expectant mothers.

As an OBHG hospitalist, you are the in-house expert whose advanced clinical skill and ability to handle any OB emergency dramatically improves patient safety and satisfaction.

You will work closely with local OB/GYNs to ensure that every pregnant woman who presents to the hospital is cared for by an experienced physician, every time.

Hospital Information

The 280-bed hospital is an acute care and surgical facility that serves the Johnson City community. It is home to a level III neonatal intensive care unit (NICU), a high-risk obstetrics program and educational classes for new parents. 

The Location

Johnson City is a village located in Broome County, New York, and is home to more than 15,000 residents. Along with Endicott and Binghamton, Johnson City is part of the “Triple Cities.”

The local economy is powered by health care, education, retail and media.

Johnson City is served by several highways, Broome County Transit, Greyhound Bus Lines, New York Trailways and Greater Binghamton Airport.

Arts and Entertainment

The region’s arts and culture scene includes the Tri-Cities Opera, the ART Mission and Theater, MainStage, Bundy Museum of History and Art, First Friday Art Walks and more.

Agritourism is popular as the area is home to numerous farms, wineries, markets and gardens. Other attractions include the Ross Park Zoo, the Roberson Museum and Science Center, the Discovery Center of the Southern Tier and Robot City Games, the largest arcade in New York.

Institutions of higher education include the Binghamton University School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences, and Davis College. Johnson City is also the future home of the Binghamton University Decker School of Nursing.
