Penn Medicine is seeking a full time pulmonologist for a position at Penn Medicine Somers Point. Penn Medicine Somers Point is conveniently located in a modern medical office building connected to Shore Medical Center, which is an affiliate of Penn Medicine. The candidate will have advanced bronchoscopic skills that include flexible bronchoscopy, endobronchial ultrasound (EBUS), and navigational bronchoscopy. In additional to procedures, the candidate will also care for general pulmonary patients for a portion of their time. There will be an opportunity for ICU work if desired.
We are looking for an outstanding clinician who has an entrepreneurial spirit and wants to develop their own regional program. The prior pulmonary physician doing these procedures has retired and the local pulmonologists are fully supportive of a Penn Medicine physician developing the program. Candidates must be board certified in internal medicine and pulmonary medicine, and be eligible for licensure in New Jersey and Pennsylvania.
Penn Medicine Somers Point is located on the Great Egg Harbor Bay in Somers Point, New Jersey, just over the bridge from the seaside resorts of Longport, Margate and Ocean City; eight miles south of Atlantic City’s restaurants and entertainment and 20 miles north of Victorian preserved, historic Cape May.
