Trinity Health Of New England - the region’s largest nonprofit health system - has an excellent full time employment opportunity for a Board Certified or Board Eligible Orthopedic Surgery physician with Fellowship training or interest in Total Joint reconstruction to join the Orthopedic Care Center with Mercy Medical Center, located in Springfield, Massachusetts.
The selected candidate will have the opportunity to become the face of Mercy’s arthroplasty program, working with hospital and operating room leadership to drive the Total Joint Replacement program. This is a high-volume practice with excellent clinical support, including 24/7 Hospitalists who assist with perioperative care and dedicated Physician Assistants who provide support in the hospital and the clinic.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to expand, build market share and to explore additional elective practice opportunities. This is a fully dedicated orthopedic opportunity that does not require any Emergency Department call; however, the candidate is expected to cover call for their own patients.
Preference will be shown to candidates who are Fellowship trained in Total Joints.
