PRACTICE SPECIFICS

Unique opportunity for a formally-trained, therapeutic endoscopist to join an established, high-volume, therapeutic-only practice.  Proficiency in EUS/ERCP and luminal procedures (RFA, EMR, enteral stenting) is required.  Our therapeutic endoscopy program supports a 357-bed tertiary referral center with specialized foregut, bariatric, pancreaticobiliary and colorectal surgery and a nationally recognized cancer center operating the region’s only Cyberknife.  Our sophisticated, OR-based, integrated, endoscopy unit is EUS/ERCP ready and features dedicated anesthesia support.  Intraprocedural cytopathology and interventional radiology services are available. Opportunity exists to supplement therapeutic endoscopy practice with daytime, inpatient, general endoscopic procedures.

• Low-impact 1:2 weeknight and weekend therapeutic endoscopy call
• General gastroenterology call covered by the current seven general gastroenterologists
• Inpatient GI consultative practice staffed by general gastroenterologist / advanced practitioner team
• All GI and pancreaticobiliary hospital admissions managed by IM hospitalists
• Pancreaticobiliary-specific clinic
• Academic and research affiliation

REQUIREMENTS

• BC/BE in Gastroenterology
• Completion of fourth year therapeutic endoscopy training including EUS and ERCP
