  The famous Atlanta VA Medical Center, Decatur, Georgia seeks a full-time Board-Certified Gastroenterologist to join their dynamic healthcare team. Candidate will perform general Endoscopy procedures, and candidate will take call for the VA Medical Center and Grady Memorial Hospital System, respectively. Physician will handle Inpatient GI consults 2-3 months per year. There is an opportunity to gain an academic appointment with Emory University. Research opportunities are available both clinical and translational.  Clinic schedule is 80% clinical time and 20% admin and when working on endoscopy day physician will average 12-14 procedures per day.

The Atlanta VAMC has a highly active research program which is near the top ten in the nation and is largely conducted by VA physician-scientists who are also faculty members at Emory University School of Medicine.
