Tufts Medical Center, Boston, MA – The Division of Palliative Care in the Department of Medicine, is seeking a highly energetic, motivated, and collegial physician to join our growing team. As an academic medical center, Tufts Medical Center has a tripartite mission to provide the best clinical care, conduct groundbreaking research, and educate the next generation of clinicians and healthcare leaders. The Division of Palliative Care fulfills this mission by enlisting the skills of an interdisciplinary team which includes doctors, nurses, social workers, chaplains, physical and respiratory therapists; and case managers.
Candidate applicants must be BE/BC in Hospice and Palliative Care medicine. Outstanding teaching skills and an interest in research are required. You will provide direct clinical care in an inpatient consultative service and ambulatory settings at Tufts Medical Center and its collaborative physician network. In addition, candidate would have active participation in local, regional, and national innovative palliative care projects.
Tufts Medical Center is an exceptional, not-for-profit, 415-bed academic medical center that is home to both a full-service hospital for adults and Floating Hospital for Children. Conveniently located in downtown Boston, the Medical Center is the principal teaching hospital for Tufts University School of Medicine. Floating Hospital for Children is the full-service children's hospital of Tufts Medical Center and the principal pediatric teaching hospital of Tufts University School of Medicine.
