WMC averages 800 to 900 high-risk deliveries each year, and has a 49-bed, Level IV Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). The Chair will also provide leadership for OB/GYN services at Good Samaritan Hospital, which averages 3,000 deliveries per year, and establish an OB/GYN service at Kingston Hospital.

The successful candidate will be recognized as an outstanding OB/GYN leader with an excellent track record in clinical care and teaching. Candidates must demonstrate a strong vision for achieving excellence in women’s care and an understanding of the opportunities and challenges associated with running a large department within a premier hospital. A minimum of five years of leadership experience is required with demonstrated outcomes in quality, performance management, growth and academics. Successful candidates will hold an MD or MD/PhD or equivalent, have completed an ACGME accredited residency in obstetrics and gynecology, and maintain current board certification.
