Presbyterian Healthcare Services, one of America’s top 10 integrated delivery networks and home to the largest health Plan in New Mexico, is seeking a Medical Director to help shape the future of the expanding Medicaid program!

The Position

  • Working in concert with the Health Plan’s Senior Medical Director, New Mexico Human Services Department and state-wide provider networks, this forward-thinking leader will provide medical oversight, guidance and support to ensure the delivery of cost-effective, quality healthcare services to Presbyterian’s growing Medicaid Plan members
  • The Medical Director for Long Term Care and Support Services (LTSS) will be a key player in refining and building upon the existing Long Term Care strategy and programs with a focus on quality clinical outcomes, utilization and readmission rates, and wellness and prevention initiatives that best serve the Medicaid eligible population
  • The ideal Candidate will possess at least five years of clinical practice experience with a passion for geriatric patient care and experience developing and implementing programs in a managed care setting
  • M.D. or D.O., board certification, and currently licensed - required
