The Division of Gastroenterology & Hepatology at the Virginia Commonwealth University is recruiting a faculty member at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor.

Candidates must be board certified in internal medicine and gastroenterology, with specific expertise in the diagnosis and management of nutrition disorders, with emphasis in malnutrition and obesity. 

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing clinical services in the gastroenterology clinics at VCUHS, to include both clinics on the MCVH campus and in gastroenterology outreach locations; participating in the inpatient management of patients with GI conditions; participating as attending physician on the Digestive Health service at VCUHS; performing diagnostic endoscopic procedures.

The successful candidate will also be responsible for providing teaching to medical students, residents, and fellows in the management of patients with GI conditions; providing training in diagnostic endoscopy.

Demonstrated experience working in and fostering a diverse faculty, staff, and student environment or commitment to do so as a faculty member at VCU is required.
