Wayne State University School of Medicine, Detroit, Michigan, seeks an experienced physician in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility (REI) for the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology and the Wayne State University Physician Group, its physician practice group.
The physician will participate in teaching program of medical students, residents and fellows of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology. We offer preimplantation genetic screening (beyond preimplantation Genetic Diagnosis, PGD), fertility preservation, Donor Egg Banking, and an onsite fellowship trained male infertility urologist. To date our division continues to be in the forefront of research as well as the clinical practice of REI. The successful candidate will also have opportunities to collaborate and work with our basic science faculty at the C.S. Mott Center for Human Growth and Development. The C.S. Mott Center is a basic, research facility housing over 28000 sq. ft. of laboratory space, which is located on the medical campus of Wayne State University School of Medicine. Several industry and NIH sponsored grant supported research are ongoing in the department. Some administrative duties will be assigned as appropriate.
Physician must have a MD degree, be board certified or eligible for board certification by ABOG in Obstetrics and Gynecology, Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility with clinical experience and academic vision. Academic appointment and rank in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology will commensurate with experience.
