UVA Medical Director of Sleep Disorders

The Department of Medicine's Division of Pulmonary & Critical Care at the University of Virginia is seeking candidates for an Open Rank (Assistant, Associate or Professor), tenure-ineligible Clinical Faculty position. Rank and compensation are contingent upon qualifications, experience, and scholarly achievement.
The incumbent will fulfill clinical, teaching and research duties in the Sleep Disorders Center and in the outpatient clinic. The Medical directorship of the sleep disorders clinic will be considered for qualified individuals. Candidates will also have opportunities to attend on the pulmonary consult service and in the medical intensive care unit.
Candidates must have a MD or equivalent, be board-certified in Internal Medicine, and be board-certified or board-eligible in Pulmonary/Critical Care and Sleep Medicine by appointment start date and have a commitment to clinical excellence and teaching. A strong academic interest and/or previous experience in the comprehensive management of sleep disorders is required.
