Mercy Health Physician Partners has an excellent Medical Director role for a Fellowship trained, Board Certified or Board Eligible Gynecologic Oncology physician to join a busy, employed practice within a freestanding cancer hospital located in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
The Medical Director has the opportunity to put their signature on a robust gynecologic oncology program with patient experience scores consistently 95+%. The practice is affiliated with several residencies and Michigan State University Medical School with an academic appointment available, if desired. Research opportunities are plentiful at local VanAndel Institute (VAI). VAI has a large number of basic scientists interested in translational research as well as a dedicated Gyn/Onc basic scientist; GOG participation through NCORP with large clinical volume, patient volume and infrastructure sufficient for affiliate status.
The practice provides excellent quality of care with a clinical support team including APPs, RN's, Social Workers and MA's. Superb ancillary services such as pathology, radiation oncology, surgical oncology, and interventional radiology are available along with a robust robotics program with two robots and the capability of performing six robotic cases daily.
This is an excellent opportunity for the right Gynecologic Oncologist to lead a program in a family friendly environment within an elite organization that is supportive of personal growth.
