CHIEF, DIVISION OF PULMONARY, CRITICAL CARE AND SLEEP MEDICINE – Norwood Hospital, a Steward Family Hospital in Norwood, MA is seeking a physician to serve as Chief of its Division of Pulmonary, Critical Care and Sleep Medicine. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years’ experience and must have demonstrated management and leadership skills with a vision for advancing the department forward. Candidates should be comfortable and flexible in providing care across multiple settings and locations, including outpatient clinic, the ICU and inpatient pulmonary care. The Chief is responsible for overseeing 3 other staff physicians as well as per diem physicians. Duties include directing a 10 bed ICU, 2 outpatient pulmonary clinics and supporting an existing Medical Director of Sleep Medicine. While the ICU shifts are 24 hours in length, call is taken from home and Steward’s eICU program provides coverage of the ICU from 7pm – 7am thus minimizing the burden of calls during these hours. Candidates must be board certified in pulmonary and critical care medicine.
