Assistant/Associate Professor Medicine-General Medicine
The Division of General Medicine, Geriatrics and hospital Medicine is recruiting a clinical educator to direct the Stony Brook Primary Care General Medicine Resident Clinic. This clinical practice is a robust NCQA-Level 3 Patient-Centered Medical home, which provides the site for continuity primary care outpatient experience for internal medicine-pediatrics residents and geriatric medicine fellows. With over 600 beds, Stony Brook Hospital is the region’s only tertiary care center and Regional Trauma Center.
Required Qualifications: MD or equivalent. Board Certified in Internal Medicine. Experience teaching internal medicine residents and/or students in an outpatient setting.
Preferred Qualifications: MPH or MBA or MPA. Academic and/or clinical administrative experience.
