UCLA LogoThe Department of Medicine at UCLA is seeking an M.D. or M.D., Ph.D., who is board eligible/certified in hematology and/or medical oncology. This is a full time tenure track faculty position at the Assistant,

Associate or Full Professor level. Academic rank and compensation will be commensurate with level of experience.

Individuals with expertise and a strong record of accomplishment in one of the following areas are encouraged to apply: translational oncology, molecular oncology, genomic or signaling abnormalities associated with human cancer initiation and progression and/or the development of novel clinical therapeutic treatment regimens for clinical testing based on preclinical information, or specialization in the area of hemostasis and thrombosis with experience in coagulation disorders associated with malignancy and/or the role of the thrombosis and coagulation process in promoting cancer progression and metastases.

This position requires teaching of fellows, trainees and/or students. Ideally, an individual would have strengths or potential strengths in both development and use of preclinical data as well as the translation of such data into innovative clinical studies. The successful candidate will have a strong record of independence, as well as a demonstrated interest in collaborating with faculty engaged in translational research.
