We are seeking a Pediatric Pulmonologist with an interest in joining a growing academic division and a passion for participating in a collaborative, academic, team environment. The ideal candidate will have an interest in Quality Improvement and can be supported, funded, and trained in this focus area. This position offers an academic appointment, the opportunity to teach and pursue scholarly activity interests, great quality of life and a competitive benefits package.   • Join a thriving practice served by a multi-disciplinary team including seven Pediatric Pulmonologists, nurses, respiratory therapists, dieticians, pharmacists, speech pathologists, social workers, psychologists, and support staff
  • Accredited Cystic Fibrosis Center—only accredited center in the state
  • Opportunities for collaborative efforts in the areas of neuromuscular disease, joining a world-renowned neurologist, Non-CF bronchiectasis, palliative care, as well as multiple others depending on your interests
  • Full Sub-Specialty support with access to all Pediatric Sub-Specialists
  • Opportunity to develop your own clinical/research interest niche that will be fully supported by the Department; Protected time to pursue scholarly activity interest

  • Participate in outpatient clinics including team clinics for patients with asthma, cystic fibrosis, neuromuscular disorders, chILD, scoliosis, aero-digestive disorders, or develop your own outpatient clinical interest
  • Division is actively involved in clinical trials, completing 28 in 2018, the CF Learning Network, chILD Foundation, and the Therapeutics Development Network
  • Participate in Medical Education teaching medical students and residents
