NYU Winthrop Hospital, a 591-bed medical center located in Nassau County, Long Island, is a major regional healthcare resource with a deep commitment to patient care, medical education and research.

We are currently seeking an attending rheumatologist to join our full-time faculty in the Division of Rheumatology, Allergy & Immunology.

NYU Winthrop is affiliated with the NYU Langone Health system, in a clinically integrated healthcare network and is the home of the recently LCME approved NYU Long Island School of Medicine*. NYU Winthrop Hospital also hosts ACGME-accredited residency and fellowship programs across multiple disciplines including 13 subspecialty fellowships in the Department of Medicine. Our faculty members hold academic appointments and are active in the teaching and training of medical students, house staff and fellows. The Division of Rheumatology, Allergy & Immunology currently has 4 full time rheumatology faculty and 4 rheumatology fellows in our ACGME accredited program.

NYU Winthrop has a multi-faceted research program as part of its mission as an academic medical center. NYU Winthrop physicians and scientists are engaged in basic, translational and clinical research. NYU Winthrop is fully engaged in research and discovery, having invested over $110 million in our new state-of-the-art Research and Academic Center. 

Individuals who are board certified or board eligible in rheumatology and possess a commitment to student, resident and fellow education are encouraged to apply. A strong background and/or clinical qualification in MSK ultrasound are desirable.
