The Division of Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine is seeking a full-time medical pulmonologist at the Assistant/Associate or full Professor level, interested in practicing general pulmonology and critical care medicine, and carrying out lung cancer screening. Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine is part of the newly established Department of Internal Medicine. The successful candidate will join a vibrant multidisciplinary team of physicians and scientists dedicated to understanding and treating pulmonary complications in patients with cancer, caring for patients in the ICU, and education of staff and trainees.

Responsibilities include outpatient clinics, inpatient consultation service, general pulmonary medicine, intensive care and screening clinic.

Additional opportunities include clinical and translational research, participation and leadership in clinical trials, as well as teaching and supervision of trainees.  Applicants are required to be BC/BE in both pulmonary disease and critical care medicine and be eligible for a NY State Medical License.  The search committee will consider clinical expertise and leadership qualities in addition to translational research interests, publication record, and commitment to clinical care and teaching.  Academic rank and compensation are dependent upon qualifications and years of experience.  Faculty will also be recommended for a joint appointment at the University at Buffalo Jacobs School of Medicine. Roswell Park offers a generous package of fringe benefits.
